Do you know what a love in action warrior is?: Meet Jennifer Judge – LIA Warrior

Do you know what a love in action warrior is? An LIA Warrior is a person who makes it their mission in life to commit acts of love in action wherever they go.

Some LIA warriors quietly weave those actions into their everyday adventures; at work, at home, and out in public. They are the people who rescue animals, help people whenever they see an opportunity to do so, pull over to pick up trash, show up with whatever someone in crisis may need, volunteer; model love in action in all they do.

Then there are those passionate, committed people who become full time LIA warriors when they combine their passion, education, experience, and desire to make a difference. Jennifer Judge is doing just that. Jennifer Judge is a love in action warrior and the founder of  Adapted Athletics. Jennifer’s words:

“My name is Jennifer Judge and I am a Behavioral Specialist. Over 10 years ago, I found love in working with individuals with Autism and other related disorders. In those 10 years, I worked with many children and families. I began crossfitting about 4 years ago and fell in love with the process, the change in my body and how I felt. Most importantly it was my own outlet that I turned to when I felt challenged. I got stronger, set goals and achieved them, built friendships but I also found peace and balance. It was a year later that I went for my certification to become a level 1-CF trainer. During that seminar, I knew my passion was to work with kids. I wanted to obtain a certification to train crossfit to kids.”

You can read more from Jennifer’s story of how she came to the idea of using Crossfit to benefit special needs kids here. While you are there, you will have the opportunity to commit a little love in action of your own by supporting one of Jennifer’s kids, and so her vision.
