Internet – The Child Predator’s Dream Come True

This is not my usual type of post, although it neatly falls under life issues. Having failed to catch the interest of busy parents and guardians via social media, I’ve turned to my blog to get the word out.

If you are a parent, guardian, grandparent, teacher, or caretaker who has children under your care who have access to the Internet, I strongly suggest you take a few minutes to watch the video below. You will find yourself as surprised and horrified as the parents in the video (who were sure they knew their kids) were. Don’t assume your child(ren) won’t fall for it. Children do, more often than you think; Children whose parents were sure they knew them AND what they were doing on the Internet.

It’s a new world. Parents have to pay attention to new dangers. That’s just the way it is.

After you have viewed it, you might want to share it with your children so they can see how easily it can be done. Share it with other parents, too! You never know when education shared will end up saving a life.

Even if you don’t watch the video, please be sure that you know, without a doubt, where your child is going on the Internet, because an unattended child on the Internet is the child predator’s dream come true.
