Ever moving

Ever moving

As she went about her business

Busy running for her life

Had no time to look around her

Couldn’t see for all her strife

Rushing down the path to nowhere

Ever chased by guilt and fear

She kept moving, ever moving

Do not stop! was all she’d hear

Cause if you stop you’ll have no choice

But to be with only you

And you might just see the truth

And then oh what will you do?

No she can’t just stop and sit here

They will catch her if she’s still

All those fears she made her story

They will find her, yes they will

No she just best keep on moving

She can take the brutal pace

What she can’t take is the risk

Of seeing someone she can’t face
