‘Learning to Dance in the Rain Movie’: 1st stop on the road to a grateful you in 2011 (video)

When life gives me dark clouds and rain,
I appreciate the moisture that brings soft curl to my hair.

One of the key spiritual principles suggested in the recent article on New Year’s resolutions was gratitude. Living a life of gratitude opens your spirit up to receive while gifting you with the ability to enjoy what is right before you. Gratitude is a powerful concept that will change your life if you practice it through inspirational readings and viewings, gratitude lists, giving thanks, and simply sharing what you are grateful for with others on a regular basis.

The short, but powerful movie below is a delightful example of choosing to be grateful. Allow it to inspire you. “Learning to Dance in the Rain – The Power of Gratitude” is written by Mac Anderson and BJ Gallagher; based on a poem called “Weather Report” by BJ Gallagher. Mac Anderson is the founder of simpletruths.com; a website that features beautiful, well-crafted, inspirational books.

As we move out of 2010 and into 2011, take a moment to view the movie. Take another moment to contemplate the message, and if it inspires you pass it on to others. Resolve to be a grateful you in the new year and see where it takes you. You might be surprised.

Happy New Year!
