Shared inspiration: the gift that keeps on giving

Inspiration can be defined as the drawing of air into the lungs. It is also defined as the feeling itself within the body of elevated energy and enthusiasm. When someone shares inspiration with you the act of receiving is a drawing in of an idea into the heart. Once inside, the idea that came from the giver’s body of elevated energy and enthusiasm causes the same response in you.

Now both people are living in spirit with enthusiasm (God within) through the shared inspiration. The giver and the receiver now feel inspired to continue to share with each other and/or go on to share with others. The shared inspiration has become a gift that keeps on giving.

Throughout my life I have had the blessing of receiving spiritual inspiration from family, friends, books, churches, ordinary people accomplishing extraordinary things. And I have reciprocated by sharing what I have learned both through experience and from others. But it is only within the last year that I have realized what a powerful, life changing gift it is.

I started writing as a Spiritual Living Examiner a little over a year ago.  My goal was to continue to explore spirituality and share through my writing. As often happens, unexpected gifts have come from this adventure. Through everything that comes with writing articles I have met people from all around the world and right in my own backyard. I have found people who I thought I lost years ago who are also on a spiritual path. Through the social media that comes with this career the world around me has exploded with wise, loving, giving, inspiring people who share their inspiration with me. The gift of shared inspiration has become a high priority in my life and I would like to tell you why.

Sharing inspiration with others keeps me grounded in spirit, and I am growing. It doesn’t matter whether I am the giver or the receiver; I benefit both ways. What is really exciting is when two or more people exchange spiritual ideas and everyone walks away with a deeper, more profound understanding of one of life’s mysteries. I am always grateful for the gift of another’s heart, and I take great joy in passing it on to others.

If you are one of the people who shares their inspiration; whether in person, in writing, on the web, by what you do, or just out in the world, I thank you for giving me that gift. And if you are one of the people who is inspired by my gifts, I thank you for receiving because when you do, I am gifted. And when you give it back or pass it on the blessing continues; the gift keeps on giving. Most important of all, if you would like to share in inspiration but are afraid you won’t inspire, fear not! Inspiration comes from our creator and He created you!

Share in inspiration. Join the people who uplift and enlighten others, and so themselves, simply by giving what they have to give from their heart. It’s a beautiful, powerful way to walk this journey we call life together.

Thank you for your shared inspiration.
